WHO WE ARE
SHM Next is a TNO spin-off based at YES!Delft, developing advanced wireless sensor systems for structural health monitoring and predictive maintenance. Our UniQ sensor platform enables continuous, non-intrusive integrity monitoring of pressure equipment, detecting defects such as cracks, pitting, and corrosion from the earliest stages, without requiring shutdowns or disrupting normal operations. We serve industries including petrochemicals, offshore, and civil infrastructure, with a growing portfolio of deployments across Europe. Our technology helps operators move from reactive to proactive maintenance, improving both safety and efficiency at some of the most demanding industrial sites in the world.
At SHM Next, you will be part of a driven and multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists who are passionate about turning cutting-edge research into real-world solutions. We offer a dynamic environment where your contributions matter, where you will learn fast, and where there is plenty of room to grow, whether you are just getting started or looking to deepen your technical expertise.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated Work Student Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our next-generation intelligent sensor nodes.
