At Smartpooling, you will help us better understand our launching market niche by doing user interviews. Our focus is potential drivers and passengers of a carpooling technology. These people can be found at train stations (many passengers are waiting for their train, and being annoyed by delays) and at rest areas close to highways (waiting for their orders at McDonalds/KFC/Starbucks Delft Noord).
Your responsibilities will be:
- Conduct in-depth user interviews with potential drivers and passengers to gather insights into travel behavior and preferences.
- Analyze interview findings to identify patterns, trends, and user needs.
- Collaborate with the product development team to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies based on user feedback and market research.

You are easy to talk to, curious about people's mobility experiences, could consider using carpooling solutions.
💻 Requirements
- Previous experience in conducting user interviews or market research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Both English and Dutch language skills. Native Dutch skills are preferred, as many of our local users will not speak English.
- Ability to empathize with users and extract valuable insights.
- General interest and understanding of marketing principles is required. A formal degree (marketing or business) is a plus but not required.
- Interest in using a carpooling solution is required, to better emphasize with the users.
🏦 What do you get in return?
- -15 Euros/Hour, 8 hours a week. You get same amount of money as a full time student internship but you work 1 day a week.
- Contribute to marketing direction of the startup directly.
- Work side by side with the two co-founders. They are happy to coach and mentor you with their many years of experience in Oil and Gas, Automotive, Consultancy, and Finance.
