🔥 We challenge you!
At DeNoize, you will be working on the cutting edge of active noise cancellation technologies. As an Embedded Software & and FPGA Engineer, you will be part of our engineering team responsible for developing our real-time active noise cancelling system.
You will have a key position, at the crossroads of many disciplines such as digital electronics, real-time embedded systems, signal processing and control algorithms. You will work in a small and multidisciplinary team of passionate people committed to tackling the problem of noise pollution in our cities.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Design, implementation and verification of subsystems, modules and components of our active noise-cancelling device,
- Create complex HDL designs and work with various FPGAs like Xilinx and/or Altera,
- Determine how data and algorithms are processed and mapped on the FPGA hardware,
- Ensure that timing and resource constraints are met,
- Work on pin placement together with other hardware engineers,
- Create modules and subcomponents with VHDL and HLS and simulate them to ensure your design is working as expected,
- Write high-quality and structured embedded software,
- Simulate digital circuits (behavioural and timing) to ensure that performance, timing, and power requirements are all satisfied,
👉🏼 Your skills
- Strong experience in developing real-time systems, low-level drivers and hardware interfaces,
- Ability to work cooperatively with other developers, hardware engineers and testers in the development of the system,
- Experience with the following communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, CAN, and USB. Experience with TCP/IP, WiFi, and Bluetooth is a plus,

- You have proven expertise in embedded software/firmware development in C or C++. Knowledge of Python, and Matlab is a plus,
- Full professional proficiency in English is a must.
🏦 About DeNoize?
At DeNoize we are driven by purpose and inspired by the exciting technology we create. DeNoize is a rapidly expanding high-tech startup based in Delft, The Netherlands and Meyreuil, France. Our co-founders, Aman Jindal & and Olivier Schevin founded DeNoize with a mission to tackle noise pollution in urban environments and enable the future of real estate with higher comfort and healthier living areas and environment.
DeNoize is a smart window technology that transforms any glass facade into a noise-cancelling system, offering up to 90% reduction against outdoor noise. The smart facade can sense, filter and amplify sounds based on user preferences, building a customized indoor environment for homes and offices. At DeNoize, you will work on cutting-edge technologies together with a bunch of passionate engineers, entrepreneurs, and designers, but with a single goal to have a positive impact on our society.
Working at DeNoize means that each member plays a large and important role within a small but close-knit team. The learning process is unique and enhanced by the diversity of the team. We encourage everyone to explore their creative side and empower our team to do so by giving them the responsibility and authority to make decisions.
