We’re actively looking for 1 material science intern to join NeoStove’s core team and perform R&D to determine the right aluminum alloy composition, which will be casted into the SpacePan shape via the high pressure die casting (HPDC) manufacturing process.
Your key tasks include:
- Deeply understand the functional requirements of our SpacePan product.
- Research and deeply understand the HPDC process.
- Establish key criteria/requirements (like ease of HPDC castability) to aid SpacePan material selection.
- Research and prepare a comparison of a limited number of possible alloys against the established key criteria.
- Advice on your preferred material choice from the list.
- Share your learnings and takeaways via a report.

💻 Requirements
- Master’s student in mechanical, chemical, aerospace engineering with a focus on material science.
- Minimum internship/graduation thesis duration of 3 months.
- Passion for cooking is plus.
