Production Manager

Renset develops and manufactures innovative, portable energy solutions that contribute to the decarbonisation of the construction industry. With our power stations, we enable emission-free, efficient, and safe operations on construction sites. We are a fast-growing startup within the YES!Delft ecosystem and are looking for an analytically strong Production Manager who can professionalise and scale our production processes in a structured way.

Role Description:
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the assembly and production process. You will ensure the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our production and build a scalable operational foundation. You’ll work closely with engineers, suppliers, and production partners to scale our innovative products to large-scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimise, and manage internal and external production and assembly processes
- Coordinate the assembly, testing, and quality control of our power stations
- Coordinate and carry out production activities together with production staff and external assembly partners
- Design and implement quality assurance and logistics processes
- Purchase components and manage inventories through ERP systems
- Initiate process improvements and cost-efficiency measures based on data analysis and practical experience
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Profile:
You are a technically skilled and well-organised professional with a sharp eye for process optimisation. You have an affinity for sustainable technology and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment.

We are looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in production, assembly, or operations management (experience with electrical or mechatronic systems is a plus)
- A completed university or bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, and planning within ERP environments
- Proven experience in setting up, analysing, and improving production processes
- Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
