At our Rotterdam headquarters, we're developing a proprietary manufacturing process for prescription lenses tailored for Augmented Reality and smart eyewear. We’re a small, focused team solving one of the hardest challenges in wearable tech: delivering high-precision, thin, and scalable lens systems that work seamlessly with AR displays.
We are looking to grow our Engineering Team—the core group responsible for prototyping, custom builds for customers, and solving the technical challenges that come with being first.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing
- Turn customer designs into working lens prototypes
- Validate those designs for manufacturability—optical, mechanical, and all the in-betweens
- Run structured experiments to refine, stretch, or adapt the process to new challenges.
- Solve tricky problems with smart, hands-on engineering
This is lab-based, precision hardware work. If you like CAD, test benches, optics, and solving puzzles with your hands—you’ll fit right in.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
We don’t expect you to know everything. We do expect:
- A solid technical foundation (e.g. in mechanical engineering, industrial design, applied physics, or similar).
- 3 years of hands-on experience with prototyping—optics is a big plus
- A proactive mindset—you don’t wait to be told what’s broken
- The ability to bring structure to complex technical challenges
It’s not about being able to “handle chaos.” We want someone who can organize complexity and push things forward.
🌱 What You’ll Get
- A Hard Challenge – We’re building something that doesn’t exist yet. It’s deep-tech with real-world impact.
- Ownership – You’ll have real influence on the product, the process, and how we grow as a team.
- Growth – As we expand globally, you’ll be part of the team setting the standard for what comes next.
- Competitive Pay – We offer a solid salary, with plenty of upside along with company success.
You’ll help shape products used by the next generation of AR devices—and be part of a team doing something no one else is doing (yet)
