β’ Propose, analyse and evaluate concepts, designs and materials for piezoelectric energy harvesting mechanisms.
β’ Mechanical design of mechanisms and surrounding parts (mountings, casings, testing features), producing mechanical design drawings.
β’ Develop and analytical models and finite element analysis (FEA) models to evaluate and optimize mechanical designs.
β’ Building prototypes, developing production tools and processes, analysing performance, and iterating on designs based on test results.
ππΌ You are
β’ Working towards an engineering degree in mechanical engineering or similar and have a strong interest in working in a multidisciplinary team.
β’ You are skilled in designing and analysing mechanical systems with CAD tools (preferably Solidworks) and FEA methods (preferably Comsol).
β’ A hands-on problem solver who enjoys working directly with hardware, tackling practical challenges, and finding innovative solutions through prototyping and experimentation.
β’ Somebody who is eager to embrace the adventure, takes ownership of the work and shares our good vibes.

β’ Available for a minimum of 4 months on a full-time basis.
β’ Able to commute to our HQ in YES!Delft.
β’ Strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.
β’ Relevant work experience is appreciated (this can be a previous role or internships).
