We are a fast-growing software startup based in the lively startup hub of Delft.
We rapidly scale both in the number of people and office space. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated person to ensure our workspace remains an inspiring home base and our team remains connected as we grow.
We are looking for a multi-talented Office & Culture Manager who wants to do more than just "manage a space."
Level: Junior
Location: Delft, Netherlands
Type: Part-time/Full-Time, On-site,
What you’ll do
--> You’ll be the "face" of the office, making sure everything is organized and welcoming.
--> You’ll be responsible for ordering everything from office facility supplies to electronics, managing client lunch orders, and deliveries. You make sure we have everything that we need.
--> You’ll own our team outings and "Vrijmibo," ensuring the smooth execution and fun activities.
--> You will design and lead the "first-day experience" for every new hire, making sure they feel at home from Day 1.
--> You’ll set up systems to track employee satisfaction, ensuring that as we grow to 50, 60, and 100 people, no one feels like just a number.
--> You’ll coordinate logistics for conferences and events we want to participate in, including accommodation bookings, commuting options, and arrangements
--> You have an innovative mindset and dare to suggest changes where you see opportunities, such as creating a new office layout, purchasing practical office supplies, and organizing a team activity to support our culture.
--> Some skills and interest in small marketing activities are an extra.
Who you are
--> You are fluent in Dutch & English. You can easily switch between negotiating with a local Delft vendor and welcoming an international developer to the team.
--> You are a “people person” and genuinely enjoy interacting with others. You are the first to notice if the energy in the room is low and the first to suggest a way to fix it.
--> You don’t wait for a "to-do" list. You see a messy kitchen, a confusing calendar, or a lack of responsibility over a task as an opportunity to improve things.
--> You are excited about the "Office Manager" tasks today because you know they are the building blocks of a "Head of People" career tomorrow.
--> You hold a driver’s license in case you need to run errands.
