Mechatronics Engineer Internship

• Work with our mechanical and embedded engineering teams to propose and implement design changes for improving power density, bandwidth and applicability of our products.
• Assist in researching, evaluating and selecting tools and processes for development and testing of the systems.
• Generate and implement proposals for improving production, testing and quality control processes.
• Research and keep up with the latest industry trends, supplier capabilities and developments in the market.
• Work with engineers to scope out timelines, costs, and risks for production of products.

• Working towards an HBO/WO engineering degree and have a strong interest in working across different engineering disciplines.
• A proactive and hands-on problem solver who enjoys working directly with hardware, tackling practical challenges, and finding innovative solutions through prototyping and experimentation.
• Paying attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.
• Looking for a place where you can take on a lot of responsibility and really make a difference.

👩‍💻 Requirements

• Internship project for a student working towards a degree in the direction of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems engineering, or similar.
• Duration of minimum 4 months on a full-time basis.
• Work from our YES!Delft office at least 80% of the time.
