We Are Hiring: Mechatronics & Automation Engineer
📍 Delft, The Netherlands | Full-time, 40 hours/week | On-site
Roylinx is a TU Delft spin-off developing next-generation, plastic-free, bio-based materials and advanced manufacturing technologies.
We are looking for a hands-on Mechatronics & Automation Engineer to support the development and scale-up of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

What you will do

Design, build, and improve automated manufacturing systems.
Develop mechanical components, equipment, and control solutions.
Integrate robotics, sensors, actuators, and material-processing technologies.
Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.
Support pilot manufacturing and process scale-up.
Translate technical and customer requirements into practical solutions.
Supervise and mentor engineering interns.

What we are looking for

- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related field.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Recent graduates and early-career engineers with strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Practical experience with machine design, automation, robotics, prototyping, or industrial equipment.
- A proactive and hands-on mindset suited to a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Nice to have: Proficiency in Dutch, experience with industrial robotics, PLCs, additive manufacturing, material-processing equipment, or production automation.
- Starting date: ASAP
