- Carbon Footprint Analysis: Calculate and evaluate the environmental impact of CIWI's production process, including emissions from raw materials and system operations.
- Water Quality Testing: Conduct water analyses to measure and interpret the performance of iron hydroxide as a coagulant across different water compositions.
- Research & Development: Investigate the chemical behavior of iron hydroxide in coagulation processes, focusing on its role in turbidity, phosphate, and sulfite removal.
- Process Optimization: Design and monitor experiments to improve water treatment efficiency while reducing resource consumption.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Analyze experimental results and present data-driven recommendations to enhance CIWI’s system performance.

- Fluent in Dutch; English proficiency is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy in environmental and chemical data.

👩‍💻 Requirements
- Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills and Interests: Strong passion for sustainability, water chemistry, and environmental impact assessment. Familiarity with water testing methods and carbon footprint analysis is a plus.
- Availability: Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Location: Based in the Netherlands and able to work on-site.
- Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG): Candidates must be eligible to obtain a VOG, as we operate within the water infrastructure sector, classified as critical infrastructure.
