Your Role
You enjoy bringing structure to a business, getting the details right, and making sure things run smoothly. At AddOptics, you'll take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration, purchasing, and operational processes, while also being a trusted point of contact for the team.
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. A large part of your work involves financial data entry, checking transactions, keeping records accurate, and following up on administrative tasks. You understand why these details matter and how they contribute to the bigger picture. You'll work independently, spot issues before they become problems, and find solutions yourself or directly with our external bookkeeper, payroll agency, and other partners.
What You’ll Be Working On
• Keep financial administration accurate and up to date across Moss and Exact Online, including data entry, bookkeeping checks, and matching transactions
• Manage cost centre and cost unit allocations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial records are correct
• Coordinate purchasing, supplier administration, and purchase orders, and track spending against budgets
• Support monthly financial and shareholder reporting, customer invoicing, payments, and subsidy administration
• Work directly with our external bookkeeper, payroll agency, and other partners to resolve questions and keep processes moving
• Own day-to-day HR administration, support employee requests, and coordinate recruitment and onboarding
• Manage contracts, NDAs, signature processes, company documentation, and general office matters
• Take ownership of administrative and operational challenges, follow through until they're resolved, and improve processes where it makes sense
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor's degree (HBO or WO) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Ideally 3+ years of professional experience in financial administration, business operations, purchasing, or a similarly hands-on role
• Comfortable working with financial data, administrative systems, spreadsheets, and recurring data entry tasks
• Independent and resourceful — you investigate issues, reach out to the right people, and find solutions without waiting for instructions
• Strong ownership and follow-through: when something lands with you, you make sure it gets finished
• Structured, accurate, and reliable, with an eye for detail and an understanding of the bigger business picture
• Approachable and service-minded — colleagues feel comfortable coming to you with questions or requests
• Happy to work full-time, on-site, as part of a growing hardware technology company
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
• You're someone who likes having things under control. You enjoy working with numbers, keeping information organised, and knowing that things are done properly. You don't mind repetitive administrative work — you understand its importance and take pride in getting it right.
• At the same time, you're not someone who just follows a checklist. When something doesn't add up, you figure out why. You take initiative, communicate directly with whoever can help, and make sure issues get resolved. You're comfortable working independently, but you're also a friendly and approachable colleague who enjoys helping others.
• Most importantly, you find satisfaction in being the person who makes sure things work behind the scenes.
What You’ll Get
• A meaningful role at the heart of a growing deep-tech company with real-world impact
• Real ownership and independence in managing financial administration and day-to-day business operations
• A hands-on, on-site environment where your work directly supports the team
• We take the work seriously, and we take the time to celebrate what we achieve together
• Competitive salary and benefits
