π₯ We challenge you!
We are an early-stage startup with the mission to harness fermentation processes with carbon capture technology to transform the food-grade CO2 industry into a circular system. To do so we are now eagerly developing an innovate carbon recovery unit to help the parties that need it most: small and micro-breweries.
Currently, craft breweries produce bio CO2 during fermentation and emit this into the air, whilst they also buy fossil food-grade CO2 for internal use. With food-grade CO2 prices increasing, the beer that we so love is becoming more expensive to produce and still not as sustainable as we like. Therefore, with the carbon capture system that we are developing, producers who use alcoholic fermentation (breweries, wineries, etc.) can capture their own CO2, purify it into food-grade quality, and use it internally. To capture the emitted bio CO2 and purify it into food grade quality, our system comprises of various separation technologies.
Starting in September an internship positions opens up to help further develop the modelling of our system and tackle the exciting challenges that lay-ahead. You will have the opportunity to work independently, be supported by an excited and young team, and see first-hand what itβs like to work in a startup.
