We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems and Acoustics Signal Processing Engineer to join our innovative and multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Design and implement control algorithms for active noise cancellation and acoustic signal processing.
- System Integration: Integrate and test control systems with embedded platforms, ensuring optimal performance and real-time implementation.
- Simulation and Modeling: Develop models for acoustic environments and simulate system behaviour to evaluate different designs.
- Signal Processing: Analyze and process acoustic signals, applying advanced techniques to enhance the noise cancellation performance of the system.
- Prototype Development: Create prototypes and perform validation experiments to improve existing algorithms in the lab and real-life environments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, embedded software developers, and other team members to integrate control systems and signal processing solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously improve system performance through parameter tuning and algorithm enhancement.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for design specifications, algorithms, and testing procedures.

👩💻 Requirements
Skills:- Control Systems: Strong experience in control system design and implementation, particularly in real-time applications.
- Acoustic Signal Processing: Expertise in digital signal processing techniques, especially related to acoustics.
- Mathematical Modeling: Proficiency in mathematical modelling and simulation of dynamic systems.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and familiarity with embedded programming.
- Lab Equipment: Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as sensors, microphones, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and sound level meters.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: MSc or PhD in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in control systems with a focus on acoustics or related signal-processing fields. Experience in real-time system development is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and signal processing libraries.
- Acoustic Expertise: Knowledge of acoustic measurement techniques and standards is a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English is required.
