We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Lead Business Developer to spearhead our commercialisation strategy. You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering and market deployment, taking ownership of early customer engagement, market validation, and investment readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead extensive customer discovery and market validation across our target industries.
- Initiate, negotiate, and secure tangible commercial evidence, such as Letters of Intent (LOIs) and pilot project agreements with early adopters.
- Develop and refine a scalable go-to-market and commercialisation strategy.
- Lead the preparation and execution of our upcoming seed funding round.
- Actively engage with local entrepreneurial ecosystems and startup validation programs to accelerate market entry.
You are
- Proven experience in business development, commercialisation, or venture building, preferably within deep-tech, advanced materials, or sustainable manufacturing.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous startup environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions for industry partners and investors.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Commercial Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial value.
